Non-cemented hydraulic liner hanger designed for reliability and performance in demanding downhole environments
It is deployed using the proprietary SYMOIL Power Running Tool Assembly, ensuring seamless operation and superior hanging capability.
The SAPSAN system features a unique barrel-slip design that delivers bi-directional pressure and load support, while its one-piece inner mandrel provides upper and inner bore sealing — eliminating the need for an internal setting chamber. This results in a simplified design with enhanced burst and collapse ratings.

To install a 7" Sapsan Liner Hanger System in a deep geothermal well, with the primary challenge being deployment and reliable setting at a depth of approximately 4,500 meters under demanding geothermal well conditions.
A 7" Sapsan Liner Hanger System was deployed in a telescopic well configuration consisting of a 20" conductor, 13 3/8" casing, 9 5/8" casing, and a 7" liner. Both the 13 3/8" and 9 5/8" casing strings were designed for two-stage cementing using external casing packers (ECPs) and Stage Collars with the required accessories, ensuring zonal isolation and cement integrity across the well profile.
The Sapsan liner hanger assembly was made up and connected to the drill pipe.
The system was run in hole to a depth of approximately 4,500 meters.
The liner hanger was successfully set according to the established running procedures. A pressure test was conducted to verify packer integrity and confirm proper sealing.
The running tool was successfully released from the liner hanger.
