About
Hydromechanical open hole packer is used for isolation of productive formations in horizontal open hole wellbore during completion with consequent multistage fracturing. The number of packers in liner assembly depends on the number of intervals planned.
The packers can be installed in the Openhole section as zonal isolation.
Or they can be installed as casing packers to provide additional barriers to isolate the annulus from gas migration.
They can be installed in combination with casing cementing
